Elic is a hard to read kind of person. He is a high-functioning autistic, which doesn't make him particularly shy or outgoing. Nor does it make him an uninteresting person. He has a tendency to lose track of time, or of himself, or of any particular thing he's doing. That being said, he's got an overwhelmingly genius-level intellect behind it, making him a prevalent resource, when properly applied. However, due to his unique state, trauma would be ineffective in keeping him calm or focused.
He likes to move about and explore - that is, he likes to be outside, and move around as he wants to. Exploration isn't really part of it. The routine of getting up and moving around, exploring his area, and ultimately stopping in a new location is extremely necessary to his happiness. He is heavily reliant on certain routines and consistency.
Ultimately, he is codependent on his handler, Iblis, regarding him with as emotional an attachment as he can formulate.

Combat abilities are abilities that for the most deal physical damage or weaken the opponent in some way ( power break).However some combat abilities may be magic based. Combat abilities are created by you. At the start you may only create a level 1 combat ability( ies) - unless you are a Lucavi-. Each level of ability is stronger than the last. Level 1 being light damage, Level 2 being Medium, and level 3 being strong. Level 2 and 3 abilities can only be obtained by upgrading your current ones with gained experience.

Magic is the power of the ancients, the ability to use the powers of the planet to heal or even to damage. Unlike combat abilities magic abilities cannot be made. Magic is premade and is listed under magic. At creation each character starts with a single magic slot, this is increased depending on race or class. A list of availble magics is in the appropriate thread. Level 2 and 3 magic abilities can only be learned if you have the corrisponding lower level spell.

History:
Elic was born strange. He didn't start speaking until he was six, and he rarely seemed to pay much attention to people when he was talking to them. He had a distinct tendency to go his own way, and do his own thing, despite how odd or abstract it might seem to those around him. His focus was never on playing with other children, or his studies. Well, that was a half-truth. HIS studies, sure. Others? Not so much.
Still. His studies were interesting, even if they weren't exactly in the norm. He was massively enamored in the realm of Spheres. They were a rarity, outside of Spira, but the examination of the old-time trinkets were one of the few things that managed to keep him occupied.
His curiosity prompted him to create interesting devices with only the scrap parts around Midgar. He actually managed to create a Sphere reader, out of next to nothing worthwhile. It continued like this, with him nearly unreachable except by those who were closest.
Innate skill and talent with improvised tools were what made him an interesting figure for M-Labs, who actually took him to be a 'science officer'. Of course, due to his constant need to be looked after, and the consistent wandering, a bodyguard or liason would be necessary to make sure he stayed on course. He needed safety, companionship, and someone to remind him that he was still supposed to work sometimes.
