Personality:
A warm hearted boy who's experiences turned him into a cold hearted man. He despises those that would dare to bring harm to innocents, though does very little to stop such actions unless doing so benefits him personally. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, but does not act on it because, as he sees it, once he accomplishes his ultimate goal, the world will be made anew anyway, and all his efforts for justice will have been in vain and that interfering would do nothing in the long run, aside from delay him from completing his task. Because of this mindset he is often seen as uncaring and brooding.

Wears a sleeveless dust brown tailcoat that is remarkably well-padded for protection, with a black fishnet shirt underneath. He carries a long spear.
He also has, stitched in black along the back of his light brown tailcoat, a simple wing design. The design would be much more ornate if he had any skill with a sewing needle. Unfortunately he does not, and this is the best he could manage by himself.
Also, around his neck, he wears a pendant holding the symbol of the religion that he himself has created, the Servants of Hyne.
All of his other equipment is about what you'd expect from a traveler; tent, pots and pans, a couple books on the history of magic, nothing of any real importance.
Combat Abilities:
Level 1 Slots:
--Shell Shield: Named for a mythical piece of equipment, this ability refers to a natural resistance that Lorenzo has gained to magical energies. Lorenzo now has a permanant Shell status. This status is born from a natural resistance, and as such, is renewed every turn. Even should the shell be removed, it is replaced each turn.
--Draw: An ability pulled directly from Final Fantasy VIII, this allows Lorenzo to pull any spell from the opponent's repitoire, and use it immediately, even when silenced. At level one, this ability allows Lorenzo to use any level 1 spell that the opponent knows twice per thread, and allows him to use any level 2 spell that the opponent knows once per thread, at the cost of 250 exp.
--Manafall: (Admin Granted Ability) Lorenzo targets an opposing enemy, and draws out their life force and magical energy. Deals 1 hp damage and magic cannot be used for 1 turn. The life force is then mixed with the magical energy and forced into the skies. At this point. the celestial forces of the planet will energise this power. And cause it to rain in the form of mana across the immediate area. The Mana fall itself will energise allies. Healing allies by 1hp each. Also reseting all things that can be considered " negative" effects on them. Note that since this is an admin given ability, these powers cannot be negated or changed by an opponents combat abilities. (While not in the original ability description, it has since been decided that this ability is an auto-hit usable once per thread)
--Purify: (Paladin Class Evolution Ability) Creates a field of cleansing energy, that removes negative status effects from all combatants, and nullifies the effects of black magic for 3 turns.
--Inominae Padre: (Paladin Class Evolution Ability) Skewer the enemy with countless swords made of holy energy. Holy-element attack, Auto-hit, usable once per thread.
Level 2 Slots:
--Mirror Mail: Also named for a mythical piece of equipment, this ability is the level 2 of Shell Shield, and refers to Lorenzo's hightened magical resistance, and his uncanny ability to detect magic coming from a great distance away. This ability replaces Lorenzo's Shell status with a permanent Reflect status that renews each turn, to rebound all incoming spells, as well as a 20% bonus to dodging magical CA's.
--Draw: The level 2 version works identically to the level 1 version, wherein Lorenzo pulls a magical spell from the opponent's repetoire and casts it immediately, bypassing any silenced condition Lorenzo may or may not have. At level 2 the ability allows Lorenzo to draw level 1 and 2 spells from the opponent twice per thread, and allows him to draw a level 3 spell once per thread, at the cost of 500 exp.

History:
He was seven when it happened. The mighty Adel, the malevolent leader of his home country, had sent soldiers, demanding that his sister be left in Adel's custody. No one knew why Adel was suddenly so interested in young girls, but considering the pure evil she had wrought upon their land up until now, it was obvious that whatever her reasons were, they couldn't be good. His parents refused to cooperate, and even fought back, killing the guards, and causing Adel to come in person. What happened next would change his life forever. It was swift. It was shocking, traumatizing even.... and then it was over. The image of Adel, the sight of Adel's full powers, forever etched into his mind.
He spent many years studying the history of sorceresses, and the nature of their powers. He learned the legend of Hyne and discovered that sorceresses must pass on their powers upon their death, thus making it impossible to simple destroy a sorceress. He made several conclusions and assumptions during his research. He is currently on a quest with the ultimate goal of killing a great sorceress. His reason for doing this go further than a mere predigest against Sorceresses, although his exact motives are known only to him.

There was only one possible explanation. Magic. And if this place, this "Spira" was indeed governed by magic, than it may be just the place to start the search... yes, he would go to Spira, and he would learn what he could about their magic. Hopefully he'd get the answers he sought.
If not in Spira, then Midgar also seemed promising. Their "materia" technology seemed to be rudimentary at best, but it was possible that the magic of the materia could serve as a stepping stone to what Lorenzo was really looking for.
If both of those plans proved fruitless, then he'd have no other choice but to go to Galbadia and attempt to learn what he could from this new sorceress that had appeared. This Blue person. But that would prove much to dangerous at this point. He needed to bide his time, and only go to Galbadia when he was ready, or as a last resort.
No, he shouldn't even be thinking about this right now... he had to focus. One step at a time. Spira. A continent supposedly governed by magic and religion. He would find a Spiran magic expert. He would find answers. He would find power. Then, and only then, would he go to find a Sorceress.
A note, I copied this almost entirely from the original bio, with only a handful of changes. I added his religion, and the symbol thereof. I added the Paladin Class Evolution and the abilities associated with it (I have all the requirements, I was just waiting on the update to be approved on JE1), and I removed the Osmose and Witch Hunter ability trees, because they were both useless. I did NOT, however, change the RP Sample, which mentions Blue... who doesn't exist on this site... so feel free to disregard that completely.
