Personality:
A warm hearted boy who's experiences turned him into a cold hearted man. He despises those that would dare to bring harm to innocents, though does very little to stop such actions unless doing so benefits him personally. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, but does not act on it because, as he sees it, once he accomplishes his ultimate goal, the world will be made anew anyway, and all his efforts for justice will have been in vain and that interfering would do nothing in the long run, aside from delay him from completing his task. Because of this mindset he is often seen as uncaring and brooding.

Wears a sleeveless dust brown tailcoat that is remarkably well-padded for protection, with a black fishnet shirt underneath. He carries a long spear.
He also has, stitched in black along the back of his light brown tailcoat, a simple wing design. The design would be much more ornate if he had any skill with a sewing needle. Unfortunately he does not, and this is the best he could manage by himself.
Also, around his neck, he wears a pendant holding the symbol of the religion that he himself has created, the Servants of Hyne.
All of his other equipment is about what you'd expect from a traveler; tent, pots and pans, a couple books on the history of magic, nothing of any real importance.

”Manafall” [Admin-Granted, Offensive, Supportive]
- Description: Lorenzo targets an opposing enemy and painfully extracts all of their magical energies. This energy is then shot into the air, where the celestial forces of the planet energizes it, causing it to dissipate and rain down upon the battlefield in a rejuvenating Manafall, hence the ability’s name.
- Damage: No additional damage (damage dealt is dependent solely on Lorenzo’s magic stat)
- Additional Effects: Reduces enemy’s MP to 0, restores the allied party’s HP by 20% of the total MP drained. Also removes all negative effects and statuses from allied party. Usable once per thread.

”Purify” [Class Evolution Ability, Supportive]
- Description: A cleansing power spreads over the battlefield, removing all dark energies, and restoring a natural order to the area.

- Additional Effects: All status ailments are removed, and all Black Magic is completely nullified. This effect applies to all combatants, on either side of the conflict, and it lasts for three turns.

- Description: Lorenzo can temporarily tap into the deep font of magic normally only available to sorceresses. For a brief period. Lorenzo's MP will be infinite, and his magic will increase by 750.

- Additional Effects: For 3 turns after this ability activates, magic costs no mp to use, and +750 magic stat.

”Hyne’s Lifeblood” [Supportive, Activated]
- Description: As much are Lorenzo knows about the Arcane, and as powerful a spell caster as he is, the fact remains, he is a Knight. He simply does not have the same natural aptitude to magic as some mages have, he has to work hard for his power, and has to dig deep the pull all of that magic from within. Lorenzo learned this ability by digging a little too deep into his own magical power, and hurting himself in the process. He has since refined this into a convenient ability that he can use at will.

- Additional Effects: With this ability, Lorenzo is now immune to any status that would hinder his magic and magic defense stats (Mind Break, Spirit Break, etc). In addition, he is now capable of bypassing the Reflect status, ensuring that his own spells always hit their marks.

Magic is the power of the ancients, the ability to use the powers of the planet to heal or even to damage. Unlike combat abilities magic abilities cannot be made. Magic is premade and is listed under magic. At creation each character starts with a single magic slot, this is increased depending on race or class. A list of availble magics is in the appropriate thread. Level 2 and 3 magic abilities can only be learned if you have the corrisponding lower level spell.

History:
He was seven when it happened. The mighty Adel, the malevolent leader of his home country, had sent soldiers, demanding that his sister be left in Adel's custody. No one knew why Adel was suddenly so interested in young girls, but considering the pure evil she had wrought upon their land up until now, it was obvious that whatever her reasons were, they couldn't be good. His parents refused to cooperate, and even fought back, killing the guards, and causing Adel to come in person. What happened next would change his life forever. It was swift. It was shocking, traumatizing even.... and then it was over. The image of Adel, the sight of Adel's full powers, forever etched into his mind.
He spent many years studying the history of sorceresses, and the nature of their powers. He learned the legend of Hyne and discovered that sorceresses must pass on their powers upon their death, thus making it impossible to simple destroy a sorceress. He made several conclusions and assumptions during his research. He is currently on a quest with the ultimate goal of killing a great sorceress. His reason for doing this go further than a mere predigest against Sorceresses, although his exact motives are known only to him.

Lorenzo closed the book with a loud snap. Could it be? A nation that has shun all forms of modern technology, and yet somehow still remained among the worlds greatest powers? There was only one possible explanation. Magic. And if this place, this "Spira" was indeed governed by magic, than it may be just the place to start the search... yes, he would go to Spira, and he would learn what he could about their magic. Hopefully he'd get the answers he sought.
If not in Spira, then Midgar also seemed promising. Their "materia" technology seemed to be rudimentary at best, but it was possible that the magic of the materia could serve as a stepping stone to what Lorenzo was really looking for.
If both of those plans proved fruitless, then he'd have no other choice but to go to Galbadia and attempt to learn what he could from this new sorceress that had appeared. This Blue person. But that would prove much to dangerous at this point. He needed to bide his time, and only go to Galbadia when he was ready, or as a last resort.
No, he shouldn't even be thinking about this right now... he had to focus. One step at a time. Spira. A continent supposedly governed by magic and religion. He would find a Spiran magic expert. He would find answers. He would find power. Then, and only then, would he go to find a Sorceress.
